Each snow gauge consists of a 24" base with three prongs that go into the ground. Then you attach your favorite top using carriage bolts and nuts (provided). If you are lucky enough to live where the snow gets REALLY deep, you can choose the 36" size, whereby you attach an additional piece between the base and decorative top.
